Magazine Masthead

This is going to be my magazine masthead. I chose this font because it is quite bold and simple but will still catch the audiences attention when displayed. My colour scheme for my magazine will be black/grey and white with a pop of green. This means that it is suitable for both sexes, which will target a larger audience. I want my magazine background to be either white or a pale colour so it makes the black masthead stand out more and creates contrast. I added the 'College Edition' as it implies that it is a one off magazine and the magazine is normally about fashion in general but for one time it is targeted at college students. This makes it more approachable to college students, as they know it is for them and all of the content, instead of just some, is going to help them with their money. This is how i came up with the title 'Thrift' as it means the quality of using money and other resources carefully and not wastefully, which is essential for teenagers attending college.
